The MyBud POS system is a comprehensive solution for your business operations. It features a Dual-Screen Display (comprising a Merchant Touchscreen and a Customer-Facing Screen), a sturdy Stainless Steel Cash Drawer, a Thermal Receipt Printer, and a Barcode/ID Scanner. The cannabis POS software includes sales, inventory, user tracking tools, nightly emailed sales summaries, and remote management via a web portal. You can also run customer-facing ads. These features are included in the monthly software service and support fee. Additionally, Premium Features such as Find My Biz for online profile visibility, Manage My Reviews for reputation management, a Panic Alarm Button, and integrations into popular services like Weedmaps and Leafly are available.
MyBud POS is designed to streamline your cannabis dispensary operations. With capabilities like tracking top-selling products and monitoring daily customer visits and their average spending, it gives you critical insights into your business. You can even create unique users to monitor individual cashiers’ performance. And if you’re away from the store, don’t worry – the MyBud Merchant Portal lets you access your data remotely, anytime, anywhere. And we integrate into mandated state reporting tools like Metrc and BioTrack.
MyBud is committed to staying on the cutting edge of the cannabis industry. We consistently roll out software updates packed with new features. These updates are automatically sent to your dispensary point of sale system via the Internet. We provide a trade-in program that makes it easy to upgrade your hardware.
MyBud Club is an expanding customer loyalty program that aids in customer retention. It lets you store customers’ patient license ID numbers and their contact information directly in MyBud.

Pricing & Payments

The first terminal at each location is $179.95 monthly, with each additional terminal costing $49.95. This cost applies to each location, regardless of common ownership. If a single owner has two dispensaries with three terminals each, the monthly fee for each store would equal $279.85.
Absolutely. We offer a free month when you purchase a one-year subscription.

Technical questions

MyBud POS needs a stable, hard-wired internet connection to work effectively and receive crucial updates. A minimum internet speed of 25/5 Mb is essential for optimal performance.

Absolutely. MyBud supports a “Deli-style” selling option. This method involves purchasing cannabis flower in bulk and weighing out individual portions for each customer, similar to how delis sell their meat by weight.
Yes. You can customize your departments and even select colors for the departments and items.
Yes, we provide “white glove” support for uploading items into the Pricebook and adding your inventory our system.
Yes. To see your reporting on your POS, click the Terminal Statistics button.
Panic Alarm Button is a Premium Feature add-on for MyBud POS. Pressing and holding a specific button on the POS touchscreen silently alerts the police and opens the cash drawer simultaneously.

Installation

MyBud allows you to list up to 4,000 items. You can easily upload these using a CSV file or scanning barcodes with your ID/Barcode scanner in your merchant portal.

Returns

MyBud POS return policy requires customers to keep the equipment for at least 60 days from the installation date before initiating a return. If you wish to return the product, a return authorization request form must be submitted within 30 days after the initial 60-day hold period. Returns will only be accepted within 90 days from the installation date. A return authorization form must be approved before the return, and customers must bear the cost of shipping the unit back to MyBud. Upon inspection, if the equipment is in good condition, free of damages beyond normal wear and tear, a refund will be issued via the original payment method. If the equipment is damaged, MyBud may issue a partial refund or deny the request. Contact your sales rep to request a refund.

Technical questions

The POS needs the internet to update and function properly. Wifi is not enough. At least 25/5 MB internet speed connection is necessary in order to receive remote support, software updates, backups and important notifications.
MyBud does not currently offer payment solutions but plans to soon. For now, please consult with your bank and/or payment processor to review cannabis compliant payment solutions.

MyBud has an on screen keyboard. Use with an external keyboard is not recommended and is not supported with MyBud.

Yes. In order to see your reporting, all you have to do is click the Terminal Statistics button, and you’ll be able to see Terminal Reports, and Shift Report.

Installation

MyBud POS ships to you plug and play (i.e. ready for use on day one.) Your team will need to input your products into our Pricebook. Our customer support team is available to help with any issues. Contact sales for more information.

Returns

Customers must hold the POS equipment for at least 60 days from the date of installation in order to initiate a return. (Example: If the unit was installed on May 15th, the 60 days waiting period prior to initiating a return will be July 14th.) The return authorization request form must be submitted no later than maximum 30 days after the 60-day hold period. After 90 days from the date of installation, no returns will be accepted. Preceding the return of equipment, a return authorization form must be submitted and approved. Once the return is approved, customers will ship the unit back to MyBud at their own expense. Upon return of equipment, in good condition and inspected to be free of cracks and damages, refund will be issued by credit card or check, based upon the original method of payment. If the equipment is returned damaged (beyond normal wear and tear of short term use) MyBud reserves the right to deny refund or issue a partial refund.
